Our client wanted to improve their management and response to issues identified by a regulatory body, which had oversight of some of their assets.
One of the key issues this solution sought to address was a recent series of crises which had “incubated” for some time as low-key local issues. Several times, such long-lived issues had escalated quickly into urgent problems where management intervention was needed. Generally speaking, at these times it can be difficult to piece together the precise history of how the issue has grown, and who said what when.
The collaborative solution was equally accessible to both parties, and provided a running commentary on all issues which were identified by the government agency. By ensuring these issues were captured and communicated to both sides, management awareness and the ability to intervene early was improved. The end result, agreed by both parties was the long-term likelihood of surprise escalations being greatly reduced.
